Designer Stone, Inc. produces two completely diverse styles of cast-stone Garden Art.  We spent our early years reproducing antiques and treasured finds and thus we offer 100's of traditional garden accessories, commonly referred to as "statuary".  Here you will find the conventional garden essentials; Containers, Animals, Birdbaths and of course, Statues.

However, it is in the last five years our most distinctive concepts have come to fruition; Zen Creations (meditating critters & creatures), Spirit Stones, Head Planters, Books Saucers to name a few.  The original lines are known as "The Gentilucci Collection".  These sculptures have a spiritual reverberating quality, they are typically amusing, expressive, inspirational and/or interactive.  They usually enjoy a message, often written, sometimes implied and occasionally profound.  It is the type of Garden Art which evokes a glimmering smile, it can remove life's pressures for a few precious moments and can remind us of who we are and what we live for.

Regardless of origin, all of our product is constructed of the highest grade Portland cements, a specialized aggregate and a plethora of strengthening additives.  Every batch of concrete produced is treated as though we we're making a souffle'.  Each ingredient is measured down to the ounce and followed as you would a recipe.  Once blended these materials allow our finished product to cure to a level three times greater than a foundation of a house.  This means our product is ultra durable and can endure in the harshest climates ranging from freezing Colorado winters to arid Arizona summers.

Our patinas are achieved by means of Integrated Coloring.  This coloring is throughout every piece of product in its entirety, meaning our colors can never bubble, peel or flake as topical applications often do.  Furthermore, our colors are much more vibrant and will never fade.  All of this means consistency is accomplished from batch to batch, year to year.

Once our cast-stone Garden Art is hand finished and cured, we apply a top coat of invisible water repellent and protective sealant.  This provides our product with even greater durability and you many more years of enjoyments.

We currently offer four original patinas, each of which are available in a stylish Glazed finish.
