If you are less than pleased with you purchase, simply contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will discuss your exchange, credit or refund options.  All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.

• Damaged goods due to package mishandling must be claimed within 3 business days of delivery.
  
• Product returned without Return Authorization will not be accepted.

Because our product is commonly placed outdoors, these guidelines must be followed precisely to ensure the product is not worn or damaged and can be re-sold as new. Refunds will not be approved until the product has been inspected by Designer Stone.  We will not grant any refunds for products damaged due to customer neglect.

Anytime a web page asks you for sensitive information, you need to be able to identify if the page is secure or not. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) was created for this very purpose. SSL uses a complex system of key exchanges between your browser and the server you are communicating with in order to encrypt the data before transmitting it across the web. Check the web page URL after you press the "checkout" button. Normally, when browsing the web, the URLs (web page addresses) begin with the letters "http".  However, over a secure connection the address displayed should begin with "https" - note the "s" at the end.  This is proof that the checkout process is secure.

There is a huge variance here because many things can prolong the process, such as quantity, size of the item in question, difficulty, back orders, and of course, when the order is placed. Best case scenario is a quantity of (1) can ship (3) days from order placement, provided there is not one already in stock.

How is the merchandise shipped?

We ship our products in top grade cardboard boxes and use spray molding foam to ensure your purchase arrives safely.  Merchandise is shipped UPS Ground unless other services have been paid for or other arrangements have been made.

Is the product weatherproofed?

Yes. The entire product is sealed with a concrete weatherproofing material tested up to five years.

What is the composition of the product?

Basically it is concrete with many strengthening additives. Read about our Product for more information.

Is there any special care I need to provide?

The product is ready for the outdoors. We suggest you use common sense during extreme weather by placing birdbaths, fountains, planters etc… indoors during freezing conditions.  The Industrial strength sealant we use has a life span of 5 years.  But, it certainly can not hurt to re-seal your product once a year.  If you're unfamiliar with the sealant you're using then test on a small portion of the product before committing to the entire item.

Is the product reinforced?

We use 3/8" steel rebar and a 1/4" fiberglass rebar for those items requiring reinforcement.

What is the white powdery substance that has appeared on the outside of the product?

Although our sealant we apply to our product prevents efflorescence, occasionally this natural by-product of water and concrete called may form. Basically, it is a saline residue emitted by the concrete when it comes in contact with large amounts of water. This is relatively a rare occurrence due to the high quality aggregate and sealants we use, nonetheless it can occur and will subside.

Efflorescence has formed, how can I remove it?

We suggest using a soft, wet rag and lightly rub the efflorescence from the ornament. You may have to repeat this process a couple of times.

Do the containers have drainage holes?

Yes, all containers have been pre-drilled for drainage unless otherwise noted (check product description). You can special order items with or without drainage.

How can my company become a distributor of this product?
